The Explosive Ordnance Risk Awareness (EORE) trainings within a project, implemented by the International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) with the financial support of the European Union, the UNICEF Office in Azerbaijan and ANAMA, continue.
Musa Jalalov, who runs the training gave detailed information about the program and stressed the importance of the training to the participants as well educating them about the threat of explosive ordnances. At the same time, he spoke about the activities of the International Eurasia Press Fund in this project.
Regional coordinators Fariz Valiyev and Vugar Yusifli also attended the training.
During the training, important rules on mines, their types, safety rules for explosives and unexploded ordnance, rules of conduct for people on the way back, what to do when faced with mines and unexploded ordnance were appropriately instructed. It was also noted that educating the population about minefields was a very important issue.
At the end of the speech, the participants were instructed to follow the rules to protect themselves from mined areas and help them to share the information they learned during the training with other people.
