The historic city of Shusha is set to witness the conclusion of the groundbreaking II Global Media Forum today, July 22, 2024. The forum, which commenced on July 20, has brought together over 150 foreign guests from nearly 50 countries, including representatives from information agencies of around 30 nations, 3 international organizations, and 82 media structures, Ednews informs.

On the forum's final day, two panel discussions will occur. Saynur Tezel, a representative of Haber Global and a renowned TV host, will moderate the panel titled "The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Reality, Media, and Disinformation: Fostering Media Literacy."

The fourth and final panel of the forum, moderated by Ansis Bogustovs, a distinguished host and producer at Riga TV24 and Radio Latvia, will delve into the pressing topic of "The Climate Movement and Media." Participants will engage in a thought-provoking exchange of ideas, exploring the media's responsibility in addressing the global climate crisis.

Elnur Soltanov, Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Energy and the Chief Executive Officer of COP29, will make a special presentation titled "Solidarity for a Green World-COP29."

The forum will also feature the launch of a groundbreaking report commissioned by the Baku Initiative Group. Titled "The Evolution of French Colonialism: A Political and Constitutional Study," the report is authored by Dr. Carlyle Corbin, a renowned American UN expert.

As the II Global Media Forum draws to a close, Shusha once again demonstrates its significance as a hub for international dialogue and collaboration. The forum's theme, "Exposing False Narratives: Combating Disinformation," has sparked crucial conversations and fostered partnerships among media professionals worldwide, paving the way for a more informed and resilient global media landscape.
