Nataliya Pryshchepa wins 800m race.
Ukrainian runner Nataliya Pryshchepa won a golden medal in 800m Women Final at the European Atletics Championship in Netherlands.She gained the lead near the finish line, and won Europe's best athlete title with a result of 1:59.70 minutes.
French runner Renelle Lamote took a second place in the competition with a result of 2:00.19, while Swedish runner Lovisa Lindh brought home the bronze medal in a personal best of 2:00.37.
"I want to thank everyone, who supported me, wished me luck, and was by my side during these difficult and exciting days. I dedicate my victory to Ukraine. I'm extremely glad that I was capable to defend my country's honour. I was surrounded [during the run] – and couldn't get out. I don't know where my strength came from. Adrenalin!" Pryshcepa commented on her victory.
