Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal is rumored to be pulling out of the Roland Garros tournament this year due to an injury to his hip, which would mark the first time not play on Parisian soil since 2004, the local media wrote on Wednesday, EDnews informs.
The 36-year-old 22-time Grand Slam champion will hold a press conference on May 18 at 4 pm local time, to provide more details about his decision for the French Open, his PR team confirmed.
The 2023 French Open qualifying matches will start on May 22.
