Captured Armenian servicemen expressed gratitude for attitude and behaviour, demonstrated to them - PHOTOS

Secretary of the State Commission of Azerbaijan on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons Idris Ismayilov has visited Armenian servicemen - Sargsyan Areg Siraki (13.11.2001), Amirjanyan Narek Gariki (23.05.2001), and Mikayelyan Albert Yervandi (07.09.2001), captured in the wounded condition when Armenian armed forces grossly violated ceasefire regime and started military operations against the Azerbaijan Republic on September 27, State Commission told APA.

During the visit, Commission Secretary acknowledged with condition, treatment, and maintenance condition of Armenian militants and way of behaviour with them.

Armenian servicemen expressed satisfaction of the attitude and behaviour, demonstrated to them, said their treatment to be conducted normal, and expressed gratitude. 

Guided by relevant articles of legal norms of international humanitarian law, telephone conversation of two of wounded servicemen with their families has been provided during the visit. 

Albert Mikaelyan, who said that do not remember phone numbers his family members, made a video appeal to his relatives to inform him about his behaviour and treatment.

Armenian servicemen expressed gratitude for the visit, especially telephone contact with their family members.
