Twitter CEO Elon Musk stated in an interview excerpt with the journalist Tucker Carlson released on Sunday, that the United States government had "full access" to data, supporting previous "Twitter Files" reports, which revealed its involvement in controlling the social media platform, Ednews informs via Teletrader.
"The degree to which various government agencies effectively had full access to everything that was going on, on Twitter, blew my mind," Musk shared, adding that this also included access to the users' direct messages.
The series of internal documents, labeled "The Twitter Files," gave insights into what was happening behind the scene, dabbling, among other things, into the Hunter Biden story censorship and the 2020 US presidential elections.
