SberBank, Tinkoff, Alfabank and other major Russian financial institutions on the morning of June 25 lowered exchange rates by several rubles at once, follows from the information in the banks’ application, Ednews reports citing the Russian media.
So, in SberBank, as of 12.00 Moscow time, the rates were set at ₽89.79 per dollar and ₽95.75 per euro compared to ₽90.09 per dollar and ₽96.06 per euro the day before.
In the Tinkoff app, currency purchase rates are set at ₽89.4 per dollar and ₽97.4 per euro compared to ₽91.1 per dollar and ₽99.25 per euro the day before.
They also lowered their rates:
Alfa-Bank — from ₽96.77 per dollar and ₽106.21 per euro to ₽90 per dollar and ₽99 per euro;
VTB — from ₽94.5 per dollar and ₽102.5 per euro to ₽91.81 per dollar and ₽100.41 per euro;
Gazprombank — from ₽97.3 per dollar and ₽104.3 per euro to ₽91.85 per dollar and ₽98 per euro;
Raiffeisenbank — from ₽97.55 per dollar and ₽106.4 per euro to ₽92.46 per dollar and ₽98.96 per euro.
The USDT token on the Binance exchange at 12:00 Moscow time was trading at the level of 84.69 rubles.
“Our clients can purchase foreign currency at an updated favorable rate. At the same time, we still do not see increased demand, and 90% of customer transactions are for the sale of foreign currency,” – said the press service of the SberBank.
Note that Russian banks have increased the price of foreign currencies against the background of the advance of the Private Military Convoy "Wagner" towards Moscow.
