Billionaire Elon Musk revealed on Saturday on his Twitter account that certain temporary limits have been introduced on the social media platform.
The move is being made in an effort "to address extreme levels of data scraping and system manipulation," he wrote. "Verified accounts are limited to reading 6000 posts/day. Unverified accounts to 600 posts/day. New unverified accounts to 300/day," Musk explained.
The Downdetector's data has shown that thousands of users have reported issues with the platform today.
