The French Interior Ministry said on Sunday that the number of people arrested during overnight riots across the country climbed to 719.
The ministry added that 45 police officers were injured in clashes with protestors and that 577 vehicles and 74 buildings were damaged.
The protests have been going on for days in response to the police killing of a teenage delivery driver. Earlier, Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin stated that last night was "quieter" than previous nights of protests.
