The European Commission announced on Sunday that its President Ursula von der Leyen will deliver her State of the Union speech at the European Parliament on September 13.
"She will present priorities for the year ahead and take stock of the past year's achievements," the Commission noted in a post on social media platform X.
Earlier, Von der Leyen stated she plans to cover a range of issues in the address, including supporting Ukraine amid its war with Russia and the bloc's "climate ambitions."
