White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced on Tuesday that Washington will provide Ukraine with a new package of security assistance.
Jean-Pierre stressed the latest package will include additional mine-clearing equipment, missiles for air defense, ammunition for artillery and HIMARS systems, as well as over 3 million rounds of small arms ammunition.
Blinken announced in a separate statement that the package announced today is worth $250 million. "This package contains important capabilities to help Ukraine on the battlefield," Blinken stated.
