At least two people died and three were injured in Russia's overnight strikes on Kiev, local authorities said on Wednesday. Head of Kiev City Military Administration Serhiy Popko said the attack included "several groups of drones heading from different directions" as well as missiles and that Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed over 20 targets.
"Kiev had not experienced such a powerful attack since spring. The enemy launched a massive, combined attack using drones and missiles," Popko said. He said two people were killed by the falling debris, which also caused damage and fires in the city's Shevchenkivskyi District.
