The Chinese yuan extended losses against the dollar on Thursday, sliding to the lowest level in nearly 16 years amid concerns about China's economic slowdown.
Earlier in the day, a report by China's General Administration of Customs showed the country's trade surplus fell to $68.36 billion in August, with exports dropping 8.8%.
The dollar added 0.15% against the yuan to sell for 7.32790 at 11:35 am CET.
