Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Sunday stressed that there will be no war on Belarusian territory in modern conditions, TASS news agency reported.
The President reiterated that Belarus poses no threat to any nation and emphasized the nation's commitment to peace. While acknowledging regional tensions, he stressed Belarus's role as a peace-loving nation and its readiness to defend itself if necessary.
Since Russia began its military operation in Ukraine, Minsk has been accused of supporting Moscow in the conflict, and there have been reports that Belarusian forces may be thinking about joining the battle.
