Permanent representative of Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk announced in his Telegram post on Monday that six deputy defense ministers and the department's secretary of state were fired.
The post revealed that deputy ministers Volodymyr Havrylov, Vitalii Deinega, Hanna Maliar, Rostislav Teodozievich, Denys Sharapov, and Andrii Shevchenko were let go, as well as the State Secretary for the Defense Ministry Kostiantyn Vashchenko.
This all comes just a few weeks after President Volodymyr Zelensky decided to replace the country's defense minister Oleksii Reznikov with Rustem Umerov.
