The Arab League announced on Monday the foreign ministers of the countries comprising the organization will meet on Wednesday to discuss the ongoing clashes between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, as Palestine previously requested.
According to Palestine's permanent representative to the Arab League, Mohannad Aklouk, who spoke to the media, the summit will take place at the group's headquarters in Cairo.
Meanwhile, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abu al-Gheit warned "[i]f Israel does not change its position, this war will not be the last."
