French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his country's solidarity with Israel and insisted it will not be "left alone in the war against terrorism."
During a joint press conference with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Macron stressed that France will be "here today, tomorrow and the day after for peace and stability" and stressed the main goal for the time being should be to secure the release of all the hostages held by Hamas.
Following his meetings with Israeli officials in Tel Aviv, the French president will travel to Ramallah to meet Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
