The woman the police shot after she made threats to commit terrorist acts at the Bibliotheque François Mitterrand metro station in Paris had no explosives, the forces' head Laurent Nunez told the media on Tuesday.
The police shot the person in question around 9:20 am CET after she threatened with terrorism. She is currently in a critical condition. Nunez said the police are still determining her identity. According to BFMTV, the sources said the woman was already involved in a similar incident in July 2021.
Meanwhile, the French government's spokesperson Olivier Veran responded to the news, saying that the number of anti-Semitic acts the country has seen since the beginning of the clashes between Israel and Hamas has surpassed 800, which is "totally unacceptable."
