The incoming Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and his cabinet were sworn in on Wednesday following a general election in October. Tusk will replace Mateusz Morawiecki, who has been in office since 2017.
During the election campaign, Tusk vowed to mend relations with the European Union and undo the reforms enacted by his predecessor, which were condemned by the EU as violations of the rule of law. He also promised to continue supporting Ukraine, compared to Morawiecki, who refused to allocate more military aid to Kiev.
