Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a warning against Iran in response to the frequent skirmishes along the Israel-Lebanon border on Saturday.
"Should Hezbollah escalate the conflict, it will face consequences beyond its imagination - and Iran will too," Netanyahu declared without providing further details in a press conference.
He also declared Israel's intention to control the Gaza-Egypt border, adding that the southern stoppage point of Gaza must be in Israel's hands. "It must be shut. It is clear that any other arrangement would not ensure the demilitarisation that we seek," he said.
