Russia has handed over to Ukraine a total of 6,060 bodies of Ukrainian Armed Forces officers and soldiers.
According to EDnews , citing local media, this was stated by Assistant to the President of Russia Vladimir Medinsky.
"The bodies of 78 of our soldiers have been recovered from the opposing side," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
V. Medinsky emphasized that the exchange of prisoners is also continuing, and emergency medical evacuation of the seriously wounded from the front line has been organized.
The Russian Defense Ministry noted that the official Kremlin is ready to hand over the bodies of another 2,239 servicemen to Ukraine at this stage.
