Russian President Vladimir Putin''s agenda includes visiting Bolivia to strengthen bilateral relations as strategic allies, Russian Ambassador Vladimir Sprinchan said in La Paz.
In an interview with the state radio station Patria Nueva, the diplomat assured that Moscow evaluates the trip opportunities in the interest of continuing cooperation with Bolivia in health, energy and security matters.
He highlighted the construction of the Center for Research and Development in Nuclear Technology in El Alto for peaceful means, which will have a multipurpose irradiation plant, a complex cyclotron-radiopharmacy-preclinical and a nuclear research reactor.
China also supports Bolivia with medical equipment for 19 hospital emergency rooms and the construction of 49 seconds, third and fourth level hospitals as part of an ambitious government plan with an investment of 1.7 billion dollars.
