Vahan Karapetyan called Armenian forces to refrain from their claims and separatist activities. In his interview given to “Interfax- Azerbaijan” news agency, the Editor in-Chief of Canadian Literature Vahan Karapetyan talked about so-called Armenian Genocide that will have an anniversary on upcoming days.
While answering to the question whether there is an escape from Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Vahan Karapetyan answered that, - “The resolution, escape, is in fact in the very start point of the conflict”
Talking about the different scales of difficulties, the Armenian expert emphasized one particular challenge. “Among the list of challenge, the newest about the bill criminalizing the denial of the Armenian genocide proposed at Council of the Russian State Duma is the disturbing one. Let’s try to answer. Why do Armenians need this?”
Vahan Karapetyan also mentioned about the tendency among Armenians to compare themselves with Jewish population. “My co-nationals always try to compare themselves with the Jewish population to which Germany has several times apologied. This comparison is not rational, because the only fault of the Jewish settled in Germany was their desire to live better-off. However, when it comes to Armenians, no secret that Armenians have always been in Russian side during Russia-Turkish wars.
