Ukraine successfully intercepted and downed 52 out of 54 Iran-made drones reportedly launched by the Russian military in a massive overnight attack on the capital of Kiev, EDnews informs.
This drone assault is said to be the largest ever carried out on the Ukrainian capital since the Russian military operation started last year, according to the Kyiv Independent.
The airstrikes occurred on Kiev Day, the anniversary of the city's official founding and resulted in the death of a 41-year-old man and injuries to a 35-year-old woman, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko
