The Russian Foreign Ministry's spokeswoman Maria Zakharova accused on Friday the West of forcing Moscow's partners from organizations such as the BRICS, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) into selling weapons to Ukraine, particularly those made in her country or the Soviet Union, Ednews informs via Teletrader.
In a written statement posted on the ministry's website, Zakharova claimed the West uses "the most disgusting methods of intimidation and blackmail" to achieve that goal, which include "threats of physical violence, arrest and seizure of property and bank assets."
"We continue to carefully monitor the situation around the supply of any weapons, ammunition, and special equipment to the criminal Kiev regime. We express our gratitude to those countries that find the strength to resist the massive pressure on this issue from the 'collective West,'" she concluded.
