Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Sunday that one person was killed and another six were injured in Ukrainian attacks on the Russian region.
"In the Belgorod region in the village of Shchetinovka, two explosive devices were dropped from a UAV [unmanned aerial vehicle]. As a result of the explosion, one person died," Gladkov wrote on Telegram and added that six civilians were wounded in a shelling in the village of Urazovo.
Earlier in the day, Russia's Defense Ministry said its air defense systems destroyed two Ukrainian drones over the Bryansk and Kursk regions.
