The General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces said on Sunday that 260,820 Russian soldiers have been killed in Ukraine since Moscow launched an invasion of the country in February 2022.
Ukraine also claimed Russia also lost a total of 8,554 Russian armored fighting vehicles, 7,823 other vehicles, 5,403 artillery systems, 728 rocket systems, 498 air defense systems, 315 jets, 316 helicopters, 4,378 drones and 18 ships.
Meanwhile, Russia's Defense Ministry said its forces destroyed 466 Ukrainian planes, 247 helicopters, 6,152 unmanned aerial vehicles, 433 anti-aircraft missile systems, 11,527 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,145 combat vehicles equipped with multiple launch rocket systems, 6,079 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 12,463 units of special motor vehicles.
