Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Daniel Hagari stated on Friday that the military's current policy is that "any time Hezbollah shoots, we will shoot back."
Speaking to reporters about the newest developments in Israel's campaign against Hamas, Hagari stressed that the IDF's attacks on Gaza are "at a rate not seen in decades." He also confirmed the troops are preparing for a new action phase.
Commenting on the possible involvement of the Houthi movement in the clashes after the IDF reportedly intercepted several drones and missiles coming from Yemen's territory, Hagari underscored that "Israel has some of the world's best air defenses and is prepared for threats like these."
