Explosions and emergency car sirens were heard near the Rafah crossing between Egypt and Gaza, various media outlets, including Arab News and Haaretz, reported on Sunday, citing witnesses at the spot.
The reported event happened shortly after the second convoy of humanitarian aid left Egypt for the crisis-hit region.
Earlier in the day, Hamas launched missile attacks on several cities and towns in Israel, including Beit Shemesh in the Jerusalem District administrative division.
