The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) announced on Friday that six additional trucks carrying medical aid, water, and water purification supplies, along with its war surgery team and an expert in weapons contamination, passed Rafah crossing into Gaza.
According to a statement, the ICRC's war surgery kits have the capacity to provide treatment for a range of 1,000 to 5,000 individuals based on the seriousness of their injuries. Additionally, its water purification supplies consist of chlorine tablets capable of purifying up to 50,000 liters of water.
This is the sixth humanitarian assistance supply the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) receives since October 21. One of the previous convoys included 20 trucks, and another consisted of 8 trucks.
