The Palestinian Health Ministry reported on Thursday that eight Palestinians have been killed in an Israeli raid on the Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank.
According to the ministry, 14 others have been wounded during today's raid on the refugee camp in the northern part of the Palestinian territory. Earlier today, sources told Al Jazeera that some Israeli soldiers were taking "sniper positions," while others searched houses in the area.
Since the war between Israel and Hamas began last month, tensions have risen in the West Bank, with at least 173 Palestinians killed in the enclave alone.
