The Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky he proposed to Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian unicameral parliament) to extend martial law and general mobilization in the country until May 14, 2024, Ednews reports.
The proposed laws in this regard were published on the website of the Verkhovna Rada. Under current legislation, martial law is scheduled to expire on February 14.
Since February 24, 2022, Parliament has extended martial law for 90 days nine times already.
