At least two people died when the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) air struck a residential building in Rafah, Al Jazeera reported on Friday.
According to the outlet's reporters on site, the aircraft bombed the building in the neighborhood of Ash-Shoka without warning. They added that several people are wounded.
The event came amid international criticism of Israel's actions in Rafah and its surroundings, where numerous Palestinian civilians have been displaced.
