On April 30, 2025, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the Gusar district, where he inspected the horticultural and cold storage complex operated by Ismikhanli, according to a report by EDnews.
During the visit, President Aliyev was briefed on the operations, infrastructure, and future development plans of the complex. The facility plays a significant role in the region’s agricultural sector, contributing to both domestic food supply and export potential. It includes advanced horticultural areas and state-of-the-art cold storage units designed to preserve the freshness and quality of fruits and vegetables grown in the region.
The President praised the initiative for boosting employment opportunities in rural areas and promoting sustainable agricultural practices. The visit reflects the Azerbaijani government’s continued support for the development of modern agro-industrial infrastructure across the country, in line with national economic diversification goals.
