The next meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS member states was held in St. Petersburg on August 12, EDnews reports, citing APA.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan did not attend the meeting, where the joint fight against crime of the CIS countries, as well as the interaction of law enforcement entities, illegal migration problems and ways to solve them; the use of information and communication technologies and other issues were discussed.
According to the information, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Internal Affairs refused to participate in the meeting of the council.
According to information disseminated by the Russian media, the heads of the delegations of the countries participated in commemorative events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory in the Great Patriotic War at the meeting chaired by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia Vladimir Kolokoltsev.
