At the end of April, Turkiye and Bulgaria plan to sign agreements with Hungary, Romania and Slovakia that will increase the volume of natural gas transportation from Azerbaijan to Europe.
Ednews reports with reference to Report that this was said by the Minister of Energy of this country, Rosen Hristov.
Khristov added that next year his country will be able to receive Azerbaijan's natural gas through the Bulgarian-Greece intersystem gas pipeline.
At present, Bulgaria pays up to a third of its demand with pipeline gas from Azerbaijan. It is supplied by the Greece-Bulgaria interconnector, which has a capacity of 3 billion cubic meters per year.
