Kazakhstan, which has vast natural resources and agricultural products, is one of the most important partners of Azerbaijan among the member countries of the UN Special Program for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA), Azerbaijan's Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said at the SPECA 2023 Economic Forum held in Baku on the topic of turning the region into a global hub, according to Ednews.
The minister said that Azerbaijan imports a number of products from Kazakhstan: “Vehicles, petrochemical products, including grain and mineral products are exported to our country from Kazakhstan. Both countries have rich energy resources. The trade of both countries is diversified. The partnership between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan contributes to the growth of our economy. It creates opportunities for further development in the industrial sector,” the minister said.
