Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ulvi Mehdiyev met with Charlene Ruto, Founder and Director General of the “SMACHS” Foundation of the Republic of Kenya

“EDnews” reports that the Kenyan representative visited our country to participate in the “Solidarity Action: Strengthening Global South NGOs for a New and Just World” Forum held in Baku.

The guest was provided with detailed information about the “ASAN service” established on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev and the directions of activity of the State Agency. It was noted that serious achievements have been achieved in the field of ensuring efficient public administration with the establishment of “ASAN service” in terms of increasing transparency and applying modern innovations.During the meeting, detailed information was provided on the projects implemented in the field of social innovations. It was noted that more than 85 million citizen applications have been registered to date.

Charlene Ruto closely acquainted herself with the activities of the "ASAN service" center, the mobile "ASAN service", "ABAD", "INNOLAND" Incubation and Acceleration Center and stated that the relevant model made a great impression on her, as well as that the application of this experience in Kenya could be useful.
