The opening ceremony of the Azerbaijan House was held in the village of Kawashra, Lebanon.The event began with the playing of the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Lebanon, and the commemoration of the dear memory of the martyrs.
“EDnews” reports that before the ceremony, a monument erected in memory of the martyrs of the Karabakh war was visited in the village of Kawashra.
The head of the Azerbaijan House in Lebanon, Khaled Ismail, provided detailed information about the activities of the Turkmen community and the reasons for opening the house there: “The opening of the Azerbaijan House is a great opportunity for Turkmens to learn the history, literature and culture of Azerbaijan.
Congratulating our compatriots on this significant event, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora Vagif Seyidbeyov said that the opening of the Azerbaijani House in Lebanon is an important event for the development of relations between the two countries, as well as for the representatives of the Turkmen people living here: "To date, 30 Azerbaijani Houses have been opened in 19 countries of the world.
The opening of these houses is a clear example of the care of the Azerbaijani state and President Ilham Aliyev for our compatriots living abroad. I believe that the Turkmen living here will make a great contribution to the development of relations between the two countries through the Azerbaijani House in Lebanon." It should be noted that in addition, an artistic event was organized in the village of Kavashra on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani House.
