Ahead of International Women’s Day, Russian president Vladimir Putin had made the headlines for showing off his equestrian skill yet again. This time, however, he mounted a horse in full clothes and rode in formation with female officers. The footage of the site, where Putin leads a column alongside female officers at an indoor training ground, had quickly gone viral on social media.
The Russian president was taking a victory lap after scoring a few goals in an exhibition match when he fell flat on his face after tripping on a red carpet.
As seen in the video, the 66-year-old president had been waving to the crowd as he skated around at the Bolshoi Ice Arena of Sochi on Friday. But, upon reaching a red matted surface, he tripped and fell flat on his face.
