It was an embarrassing moment for BJP MP Ram Kripal Yadav, who was surveying flood-hit rural Patna, and fell into a river while posing for pictures on a makeshift boat, Khaleej Times reports.

The incident was captured on camera and shows Yadav crossing the Dardha river on the makeshift raft as no boats were available, Times of India reported.
Locals standing on the banks of the river jumped into rescue the BJP MP and pulled him out of the water. He remained unconscious for a few seconds while locals fanned him to help him recover.
