"I think that peace is greater than possible between Azerbaijan and Armenia."
This statement was made by Rachel Avraham, CEO of Dona Gracia Center for Diplomacy to EDnews whilst she commented on a trilateral meeting between Azerbaijan, Russia, and Armenia.
She also noted that , after listening to the remarks this morning by Azerbaijan's special representative at the conference:
"I also heard what Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said in Moscow and I think things are optimistic. If we can have mutual recognition between both countries as territorial integrity, and if they solve the transport link issue, I think there's greater potential than ever."
"There are always people that want to sabotage the peace, like Iran, but we should be cautiously optimistic. And let's hope that the matter will be resolved for the sake of both people", Rachel Avraham concluded.
