Tomorrow is the Throne Celebration day in Morocco. Throne Celebration in Morocco is a national occasion celebrated on 30 July of each year, punctuated by several official and popular celebrations, it commemorates the day of the King's accession to the throne.

According to Axar.az, the current King Mohammed VI succeeded his father on 23 July 1999 and officially took the throne on 30 July. On the occasion, several nationwide events are covered on public television, including official activities.

Over the past years with their current king, Morocco gained many successes both in economic and politic fields. Right now, Morocco actively encourages and facilitates foreign investment, particularly in export sectors such as manufacturing, through macroeconomic policies, trade liberalization, investment incentives and structural reforms. Also The Kingdom of Morocco has undertaken significant reforms in 6 key sectors (automotive, aeronautics, logistics, renewable energy, tourism, and information and communication technologies) to improve the climate in the country, modernize its financial markets, increase its attractiveness and raise its infrastructure to international standards. The Free Trade Agreements have also helped to accelerate the pace of reform in Morocco, including by modernizing the legislative and regulatory framework for foreign trade, simplifying procedures, improving the business climate and the competitiveness of domestic firms, and by encouraging foreign investment. In this respect, the Tangier Med port complex, located near the Strait of Gibraltar and inaugurated in 2007, offers Morocco an unparalleled strategic facility, which now handles 51.3 million tonnes of freight a year, on par with the port of London. Peugeot (PSA Group), a platform inaugurated in the Kenitra Atlantique Free Zone in June 2019, will also use Tanger Med to strengthen the PSA ecosystem in Morocco and plans to produce 200,000 cars per year by 2020.

Furthermore, the Tangier Med II extension inaugurated in June 2019 should increase the port's capacity to more than 9 million containers to become the largest port in Africa and the Mediterranean.

Over the past two decades, Morocco has invested heavily in its road, maritime, rail and air transport system and has become a hub for transport and logistics in Africa. In addition, the Moroccan automotive sector in general, and the Tangier automotive city in particular, continued to attract new heavyweight investors in 2019: the Canadian company Magna; the Japanese Mitsui Kinzoku ACT; the French Valeo etc ...

The development of renewable energies is a major priority for the government and Morocco has abundant solar and wind resources, as well as export links to Spain. The Noor-Ouarzazate solar power plant, the largest solar park in the world built by Morocco on more than 3,000 hectares, is an example of advanced strategy in this area. The Vision 2020 program of the Ministry of Tourism aims to double the size of the Moroccan tourism industry in terms of number of visitors, foreign exchange earnings and accommodation capacity, with plans for 200,000 additional beds.

As part of a government strategy to strengthen its position as an African financial hub, Morocco offers incentives to companies setting up their regional headquarters in Casablanca Finance City (CFC), the flagship financial and commercial hub of Morocco. in 2010. Morocco's return to the African Union in January 2017 and the launch of the African Continental Free Trade Area (CAFTA) in March 2018 offer Morocco new opportunities to promote foreign investment and trade and accelerate economic development.
