The Russian Government is planning to allocate $20 million to Armenia in support to the implementation of humanitarian projects, Tert.am.
The money will be a gratuitous donation aimed at securing a regular food supply in secondary schools. ″An estimated $18 million will be allocated through the UN World Food Program Fund to launch a sustainable food chain for schools. Over $20 million were allocated as part of this initiative in 2016-2019.
″An additional 2.8 million will be allocated to the UN Development Program in support to inclusive economic development in the border communities of Gegharkunik and Vayots Dzor,″ the Russian Embassy in Yerevan says in a post on Facebook.
