Chairman of the Mazhilis of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nigmatulin as part of his participation in the 50th CIS interparliamentary assembly meeting in St. Petersburg held a number of bilateral talks, Eurasia Diary reports citing Zakon.kz.
At the meeting with Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis (Supreme Assembly) of Uzbekistan, the sides underlined the importance of boosting Kazakh-Uzbek parliamentarian dialogue.
According to Nigmatulin, the dynamics and composition of the high level meetings demonstrate the effective model of bilateral partnership.
The sides agreed to continue regular meetings of Parliament members of the relevant committees for joint works on expanding the legal base of partnership between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
At the meeting with Chairperson of the Parliament of Moldova Zinaida Greceanii, the sides expressed their interest in strengthening relations.
