The challenge to international law, unfortunately coming from those powers actually created the UN, the chairperson of Center of Analysis of International Relations, Farid Shafiyev told in the event dedicated to the UN 75th anniversary held at ADA University, Baku.
Farid Shafiyev stressed the main challenge to global prosperity as territorial conflicts, the rise of nationalism, lack of international law mechanism to protect the law.
He also mentioned that competition of global power undermines international security.
"Challenge to international law, unfortunately coming from those powers actually created the UN. United States increasing unilateral form by not joining major UN conventions. Sweden is the biggest abuser of fishing quotes, Japan is about whale hunting, and Australia is the biggest producer on coal production," he stated.
