The day of remembrance, 27 September, finds an important place in the history of Azerbaijan as it marks an event which Azerbaijan and its forces fought against Armenia and liberated its lost territory that was under the illegal occupation of Armenia. The day is celebrated to pay homage to the heroes of forty four days long war who lost their lives in defending their motherland. Indeed, it is a symbol of courage, bravery and inspiration on part Azerbaijan and its forces that fought for its legal right untill the last drop of blood, said Qaiser Nawab, the head of Pakistani Youth Organization. 

According to him, Pakistan and Pakistani people stood by Azerbaijani army and the people of Azerbaijan in the Patriotic war. 

The day of remembrance also signifies that Azerbaijan is ready for its defense to the last if ever it is wronged. Meanwhile, it is important to highlight the positive role played by the brotherly countries especially Pakistan during this harsh time. Pakistan has always stood by Azerbaijan through the thick and thin and it came to fore on this occasion too and extended unflinching support to Azerbaijan on all forums. The people of Pakistan too extended their all out sympathies to Azerbaijan, especially the youth of Pakistan. The youth, through digital medium, made it sure to fight the case of Azerbaijan on electronic and social media.
