A round table dedicated to Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan relations and snap presidential elections to be held in Uzbekistan was held today in Baku under the joint organization of the Center of Analysis of International Relations and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Azerbaijan, Ednews reports.

“Central Asian countries are always among the priorities for Azerbaijan in the field of foreign policy. I want to say one fact last year Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev visited Central Asian countries 3 times. Of course, Uzbekistan is one of the countries where high-level relations are established and maintained. Uzbekistan has always stood by Azerbaijan and currently, it supports for normalization of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations in a fair way,” said Farid Shafiyev.
