"Some countries voiced proposals because they are represented in the Non-Aligned Movement as observers," Farid Shafiyev said at the press briefing after the event “Towards the Complete Elimination of Colonialism,” organized in Baku by CAIR within the Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Coordinating Bureau, Ednews informs.
According to him, the countries invited to Baku suffer from the colonial policy: "Those countries voiced their problems. It is the right of every country to discuss these problems. A proposal was made from Azerbaijan that some countries should be in the Non-Aligned Movement as observers. This is a complex issue. But it is on the agenda."
