In 2024, the training of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will be held in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, said Anatoly Sidorov, the head of the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Ednews reports.
“The joint training plan of the command and governing bodies, forces and means of the collective security system system has already been approved. The defense ministers and secretaries of the security councils has signed the document,” Sidorov said.
According to him, special attention is paid to the Central Asian region in the 2024’s plan: “ The training for Collective Rapid Reaction Forces (CRRF) is planned in Kyrgyzstan, the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces is planned to be held in Kazakhstan. It is still too early to talk about training locations in detail for now. Consultations will begin in December, this year,” – Sidorov noted.
